this challenge will introduce you to simple process to thriving.
last year I wanted to come up with a way to share my love of habits with as many people as I could during the holiday season, it was so much fun, I'm excited to do it again this year!
in my experience creating intentional habits for myself and helping my clients to thrive, these five simple habits are the easiest to adopt into your daily routine and make the biggest difference as we are learning to thrive. to me, thriving encompasses our whole selves; mind, body and spirit. if you are already doing them, great, keep doing them... but join the challenge to add some fun, bring your friends and win some amazing prizes along the way!
i believe in doing small things everyday, because those small consistent things add up to big change.
these things are so small, you are going to argue that they can’t possibly make a difference. but i know that they do, so much so, that i wanted to give you an incentive to try them out.
this is going to be a fun, competitive way to bring friends together in a healthy challenge, while also teaching simple ways to thrive. i know that when you try it, you'll see the value of doing these tiny things, while i reward your efforts in fun ways with some of my favorite things.
i am so grateful for the tiny changes i have made that have made a huge difference in my life, i narrowed it down to these five simple things that will help you start to grow a thriving life.

this challenge is about doing these 5 things every single day, and reporting your follow through. once you join, you simply fill out a google form daily to get your points each day for the habits you do.
i know that you will not only enjoy the process of doing them, but you will learn the value of starting small in order to grow big. we are starting where you are, if you aren't doing any of these things, it'll be a 1 minute version of them.

(you can start the challenge with extra points by inviting your friends to participate with you. each friend that uses your name in the entry form is a point you are ahead starting the challenge on Monday November 8, 2021).

i practice mindfulness daily, i do at least ten minutes of guided meditations and simple thought awareness exercises. i end each day writing in a gratitude journal with 3 things i am grateful for. i drink lots of water every day. i eat several of these brain foods daily. i run a few miles a day. But I didn't start out doing these things, i simply started with the tiniest version of each, like i am challenging you all to do. i was able to make the habits stick and then once they were firmly planted, i was able to grow them to be what they are today. i have a lot of progress yet to make, of course, but it is such a joyous process i can't not share it with as many people as possible this holiday season.
